On August 12, 2012 several members of Stop the Swamp attended a meeting of the Lake Erie Waterkeepers at which Senator Fedor was a guest speaker. During the meeting Senator Fedor pledged her continuing support to our efforts to stop the swamps and offered more helpful suggestions on how to proceed. She also offered to come and stand with us the next time we attend a Toledo Lucas County Port Authority Board meeting. The Port’s website states that Board meetings are still being held virtually. Once they resume in person meetings we will take Senator Fedor up on her offer.
