On June 10, 2021, Stop the Swamp held a public meeting to give the public the full facts about the Cullen Park and Grassy Island w. The hall was packed with over 200 people who came to listen. Several times the crowd burst into applause when facts that have been kept from the public by the Port, ODNR, and their engineering consultant the Mannik and Smith Group were disclosed.
A special thanks to State Senator Teresa Fedor; State Representatives Lisa Sobecki and Michael Sheehy; and City Council members Theresa Morris and Nick Komives. It is reassuring to know that those we have elected to represent our interests in the City and State governments are actively listening to what we have to say.
